Martha Gene Lambert, 90, of Markleville, passed to her heavenly home on March 21, 2017, at her residence.
She was born on June 21, 1926, in Clark County, Ill.
Faith and family (especially grandchildren) were her greatest joys in life and she gave tirelessly to both. She was an active member of Eastview Church of the Nazarene for 47 years. She loved her dogs, Toby and Susie.
She retired from Guide Lamp after 36 years of service.
Martha is survived by her twin sister, June Clark; children, Timothy Lambert, Allan Lambert, Brenda Downey, and Christy (Scott) Johnson; stepchildren, Clifton Lambert, Janice Walker, and Delene LaFever; grandchildren, Shane Downey, Brandon (Crystal) Downey, Adrian Lambert, Andrea Downey, Kody Downey, Emily Downey, and Kaitlyn Whitson; stepgrandchildren, Ben Johnson, Josh (Stephanie) Johnson, James Parkhurst, and Lisa Walker; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Kayleigh, Kamron, Gage, Damien, Kaden, Mace, and Nijah; several step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Pearl (Turpin) Clark; husband, Elmer Lambert; siblings, Stephen Clark, Lois Clark, Joe Clark, Dean Clark, Jim Clark, Violet Powell, and Geneva Clark.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Eastview Church of the Nazarene. Burial will take place in Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to Eastview Church of the Nazarene, 2552 E. 200S, Anderson, IN 46012.
