Columbus, GA- Mrs. Eddie Bell Latham, 69, 1875 Bunker Hill Rd Columbus, GA, died Thursday March 16, 2017 at Midtown Medical Center Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday March 21, 2017 at Central Baptist Church 576 Central Church Road Ellerslie (Midland), GA with the Pastor Rev. Joseph McKelton officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery according to Hill-Watson Memorial Chapel at Rose Hill LLC 2919 Hamilton Road Columbus, GA 31904. Visitation will be at the funeral home today, Monday 20, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mrs. Latham was born May 3, 1947 in Waverly Hall, GA daughter of the late Joseph Sr. and Bessie Veasley. She retired from L & S Food Service Ft. Benning, GA. "Bell" was a former member of Jeff and the Omega's Gospel Group. She was preceded in death by husband Charles Latham, her parents, eight brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Latham leaves to cherish her precious memories, two sons, Darrell Latham and Tony (Sabrina) Latham; one brother Charles Veasley, Two sisters, Susie (James) Cook and Mary Elizabeth Cook, One grandchild, Trenton Latham and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
