"Mrs. James King Dies At Eureka.
Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Winifred E. King, 62, wife of James W. King, formerly a barber in Redding shops from 1919 until recent years.
She died Oct. 25 [26] at the family home, 2102 Spring street, Eureka. Mrs. King had been bedfast for four months with a heart ailment. She was a native of Illinois and leaves a brother and a half-sister in that state.
Besides her husband she leaves four sons, Wayne of Herlong, Verne, Raymond and Rex King of Eureka; and a daughter, Laurette Stewart of Redding; and seven grandchildren."
