He is the son of the late Carl Pippin Sr. and Margie Booher Pippin.
He is also preceded in death by his wife Carolyn R. Pippin; and sister, Betty Almany.
Carl was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He retired after 30 years of service at Burlington Industries. Carl was a lifetime officer/member of Moose Club Incorporated. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and University of Tennessee sports. Carl was a member of Addilynn Memorial United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Liz Hamilton officiating. The committal service and interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Bristol, Tennessee.
