Irene E. (Olah) Havens, age 77, of Browns Mills passed away Sunday, March 19 at home.

Born in Trenton, she was a long time resident of the Cream Ridge/New Egypt area before moving to Browns Mills in 1999. Irene was a talented cook and baker and she was very much loved by her family and friends.

Irene was predeceased by her husband, George W. Havens and three brothers, Joseph Olah, Arpad “Art” Olah and Alexander “Sonny” Olah. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Dennis Dill of Trenton, Lisa and Ray Babula of Browns Mills and Sandra and Dave Ryan of Jackson; two sisters, Etta Rahilly of Wrightstown and Rose Romano of Stewart, FL; three grandchildren Gregory Mease and wife Beverly, Denise Dill and Taylor Ryan; two great grandchildren, Zamarion Gordon and Donavon Gordon; several cousins, nieces and nephews including a special niece Patti Jones of Wrightstown and many friends.

Funeral services for Irene will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Calling hours will be on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place on Monday, March 27, 10:30 AM at the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road in Wrightstown.

Due to cemetery restrictions, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Irene’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
