Mrs. Frank Morris, 9211/2 Nebraska street, died Friday night after a 4-month illness in the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. L. Haines, of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was born in Hadar, Nebraska, 2 April 1884, and she came to Sioux City about 1916 and had lived here until four months ago when she went to Minneapolis. Her body is being sent to the W. Harry Christy funeral home.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed but the funeral will be combined with memorial services for her son, Cpl. Eldon Morris, who died 23 March 1944 at Tarawa.
Survivors besides her daughter, Mrs. Haines, are her widower Frank Morris; six other daughters, Mrs. Mildred Litterick of Minneapolis; Mrs. Beulah McGregor of Watertown, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Edith Kumerfield, Mrs. Martha Moore, Mrs. Bonnie Bunkers and Miss LaVonne Morris, all of Sioux City; one son, Lester of Sioux City; one sister, Mrs. Mary Mullen of Los Angeles, California; four brothers, Julius and Herman Brisso of Los Angeles, and Herbert and Ezra Brisso of Norfolk, Neb., and 12 grandchildren

HADAR Nebraska- Special to the News: Funeral services for Mrs Albertine Morris, Sioux City, formerly of Hadar, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Arthur Haines, Minneapolis, Minnesota, were conducted several days ago at Sioux City. Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery, Sioux City.
Born near Pierce, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A.S. Brosso.
Surviving are seven children daughters, one son, twelve grandchildren, one sister, Mrs Mary Muller, Los Angeles, and four brothers, Herman, Los Angeles; Julius, Hollywood, California; Ezra, Hadar, and Herbert, Norfolk. One son, Eldon, died 20 March 1944, at Tarawa from tropical fever and bronchial pneumonia, while in the service of his country. Memorial rites for the son were conducted at the time of his mother's funeral.
Mrs Morris resided in the Hadar vicinity about thirty years.
Mr and Mrs H.A. Brisso, Hadar, attended the funeral.
