Burton A. Blake
Burton Alfred Blake, 82, native and long-time resident of Portage township, died Sunday in Porter County home after an illness of several years.
Born July 4, 1871, in Portage township, he married Lila Bobian May 2, 1889. He was a farmer in Portage township where he resided practically all his life.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Goldie Cherry of Crisman.
Services will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday, in LePell Funeral home where friends may call from 7 pm until services. Burial will be in Blake cemetery, Crisman.
