Our loving mother, grandmother, and sister died peacefully at home on March 14, 2017. She was born February 26, 1937.

She is survived by: her sister, Jane Holbert Almanza; children and grandchildren, Elizabeth Borchers and her son, Matthew, Catherine (Steven) Gustafson and their children, Patrick, Mary, Bridget, Erin, Robert (Tina) Borchers and their children, Christopher, Michael, Ashley, Brent, Samuel, Ann (Ken) McCarthy and their children, Ryan, Daniel; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A long-time resident of South West Minneapolis, Barb will be fondly remembered for her unending love, kindness, and compassion for others, as well as her love of boating, sweets, and dogs; especially dachshunds.

Visitants are encouraged to wear her favorite color blue.

Mass of Christian Burial: 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, Roseville, Minnesota, 2130 N. Dale St at County Road B.

Interment: Oakland Cemetery.
