Allen was born December 6, 1941, in Port Arthur, Texas to Lorraine Tauzin and Dunice Doré. Mr. Doré served in the United States Air Force and retired from Quantum Chemicals after thirty-years. He was a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church, Orange. Mr. Doré loved to make people laugh, tell jokes, fishing with his wife and golfing.
Mr. Doré is survived by his wife, Shirley Doré of Orange; children, Derik Doré and his wife, Stacey of Bridge City, TX; Jerry Smith and his wife, Debra of Orange; daughter, Melinda Hyatt and her husband, Dondi of Orange; sisters, Barbara McDonald and her husband, Maxie of Groves; Gail Hinson of Groves; and Debbie Dupuis and her husband, Chris of Nederland. Mr. Doré also leaves behind five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren to cherish his memories.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 17, 2017, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, with full Military Honors to be provided by the Southeast Texas Veteran's Service Group. The family will receive friends and relatives following the services.
