Services for Mr. James Randall "Smooth" Byrd, age 51, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2017 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Neely with Bro. Johnny Williams and Bro. Sid Farmer officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Perry Kittrell, Thomas Mills, Richard Harvison, Todd Williams, Leslie V. McNeal, Earnie "Bo" Pierce, and Edward Mills as alternate.
Mr. Byrd worked many years as a logger and as a pipe fitter with T.E.I. He was preceded in death by his father, Norris "Hub" Byrd.
