Eva N. Eversole, 74, of Austin, IN, passed away at 9:27 AM at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Born July 1, 1942 in Busy, KY, she was the daughter Rufus and Ota (Baker) Fugate.
On March 25,1960 in Butterfly, KY, she married Isaac J. Eversole, who survives in Austin, IN.
Eva was a member of Chelsea Church of God where she served her Lord and influenced many people while singing, being a Sunday School Teacher, and President of Women’s Missionaries. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, and loved fellowshipping with her family.
Other survivors include her only child and his wife, Pastor Terry (Anita) Eversole of Austin, IN, 2 grandchildren, Sean Matthew Eversole and Brooklyn Paige Eversole, both at home, 2 sisters, Barbara A. (Jerry) Baker and Nella L. (Silas Jr.) Johnson, all of Butterfly, KY.
She was preceded in death by 4 siblings, baby Lois Fugate, infant Charles Fugate, Amos Fugate and Ada Campbell.
Her son, Pastor Terry Eversole, will conduct funeral services at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Scottsburg, IN, with burial to follow at New Providence Cemetery.
