She was born December 1, 1929 in Flint, and was a graduate of Stanton High School. Mrs. Milton was a lifelong resident of Smith County and was a member of North Star Baptist Church. She retired from Trane after 20 plus years.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Bobby S. Milton, daughter, Ruth McGee, granddaughter she raised, Arnetha McGee, and two brothers, Raymond and Willie Flournoy.
Survivors include: one son, Bobby R. Milton (June), Tyler; two daughters, Carolyn Gipson (Richard) and Cynthia Mills (William) both of Tyler; one sister, Minnie Pettigrew, Tyler; nine grandchildren; twenty- four great- grandchildren; and nineteen great- great- grandchildren.
