Pendleton Douglas "Doug" Gardner, 52, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, at his farm in Butler County. He was a native of Greenville, a farmer and a member of Morgantown Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Holly T. Mangin Gardner; his father, Pendleton Joseph Gardner of Quality, Ky.; his mother, Maxine Cooke Gardner of Quality; a son, Chris Gardner of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Olivia Francine Gardner of Lewisburg; a sister, Maxine Jo Milley of Pelham, Ala.; a brother, Dwight C. Gardner of Morgantown; and his maternal grandmother, Marie Cooke of Louisville. The funeral is 11 a.m. today at Price Funeral Home in Lewisburg with the Rev. Gary McGuffey and the Rev. Don Piper officiating. Burial will be in the Gardner Family Cemetery.
