DAYTON — Wanda Sue Kelley, 70, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, in Chattanooga. She was born Feb. 28, 1946, in Burlington, N.C., to the late James Judd and Hazel (Sherrill) Grant. She was also preceded in death by her infant son, Gregory Scott Kelley; brothers, Richard Grant and James Grant; and sister, Margaret Way. A resident of Dayton since 1960, she was a graduate of Rhea Central High School, class of 1964, and a graduate of UTC. She was a special education teacher for Sequoyah Vocational School and a member of the Delashmitt Road Baptist Church. Wanda enjoyed watercolor painting and reading. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Roy Kelley, of Dayton; three daughters, Kim (Charles) Benton of Spring City, Stefanie (Robby) Parks, of Dayton and Tanya (Ulysses) Edwards, of Evensville; six grandchildren, Ashton Ovitt, of Grandview Mountain, Aaron (Mandy) Edwards, of Graysville, Dylan Watson, of Dayton, Kaylin Laymon, of Dayton, Chase Edwards, of Evensville and Jayden Benton, of Spring City; four great-grandchildren Cheyenne Ovitt, Skylan Ovitt, Brylee Dannel and Maverick Edwards; one sister, Pam (Jim) Montgomery, of Dayton and one brother, Doug (Janet) Grant, of Spring City. Funeral services for Wanda will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Ronnie Smith and Pastor Aaron Revis officiating.
