Surrounded by her family, BARBARA JEAN TUCKER, 74, of Duncan, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 27, 2007, in her home.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery.
Barbara Jean was born Oct. 8, 1932, in Comanche, to Garlin W. and Berdie Cox Wyrick. She was a homemaker and a graduate of Comanche High School.
She married Lee Roy Tucker on Feb. 22, 1958, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1991.
She enjoyed garage sale shopping and working crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her children, Darla Jean Tucker, Allan Lynn and Melinda Tucker, Alvin Lee Tucker, and Lisa Ann and Rex Clinkenbeard, all of Duncan; a brother, Earl Wyrick of Comanche; four sisters, Shirley Dean and Cecil Anderson of Enid, and Josephine and Wayne Martin, Patricia Ann Wyrick, and Jane and Homer Varnell, all of Duncan; two sisters-in-law, Eula Mae Foster of Dallas, Texas, and Lois Patterson of Marlow; a brother-in-law, J.W. Patterson of Marlow; three grandchildren, Branden Clinkenbeard, Kyle Tucker and Kelsie Tucker; and a great-grandchild, Jacob Anthony Clinkenbeard.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jimmy Charles Wyrick.
Bearers will be Joe Washum, Eddie Patterson, David Patterson, Rodney Martin, Cecil Anderson and Virgil Foster.
