Mrs. Edna Andrews Tilley, 76, widow of George Preston Tilley, Sr., died Christmas day at the Meadowlands Hospice in Hillsborough. A resident of Bahama, she was the daughter of the late Tom P. Andrews and Nette Durham Andrews. Before retiring, she was assistant to the director of nursing at Watts Hospital. She was an active member of Mt. Sylvan United Methodist Church and Sylvan Seniors.
Surviving are her daughter, Annette T. Barber and her husband, Reggie, of Thurmont, Md.; sons, Robert T. Tilley and his wife Susan, and George P. Tilley, Jr. and his wife, Libby, all of Bahama; grandsons, Jeffrey B. Barber, Robert P. Barber, Benjamin R. Tilley, and George P. Tilley, III; granddaughters, Lindsay T. Raja and Allison Tilley; great-grandson, Omar Raja; great-granddaughter, Caroline Barber; brothers, Billy Wayne Andrews, of White Cross, and Richard Andrews, of Graham; and sisters, Georgia Blackwood and Betty Thompson, both of Durham, Foye Crawford, of Graham, and Faye Johnson, of Chapel Hill.
