Imogene Harris, 61, of Route 1 died at 8: 15 a.m. Friday, July 29, 1988, in St. John Hospital in Springfield. Mrs. Harris had worked for Holland Drug Store. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
She was born May 25, 1927, in Franklin County to Johnnie and Essie (Clem) Crawford. She married James Harris. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Bruce Harris of Thompsonville and Keith Harris of West Frankfort; her mother, Essie Reed of West Frankfort: and two grandchildren.

Services was in Parker-Reedy Funeral Home, with burial in East Fork Cemetery.
