Born in Cincinnati on August 4, 1931 to the late Jack and Edna M. Downard Reed, Wanda R. Weisheimer, passed away at home on Sunday, March 12, 2017 in the loving care of her husband of 66 years, Irvin Weisheimer. She was 85.

A member of the Jerome United Methodist Church, Wanda was a 1949 graduate of Hilliard High School. She married her husband, Paul Irvin Weisheimer on August 5, 1951. She spent her life as a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker.

Wanda was a skilled seamstress and craftswoman and often organized neighborhood get-togethers. Wanda’s favorite holiday was Christmas and she would often say that preparing for the holiday season made her feel like a little girl again. Wanda always found great joy in being surrounded by her family.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her oldest son, Keith Weisheimer and daughter, Kimberly Cline. Wanda is survived by her devoted husband; her two sons and their wives; a daughter-in-law; plus a son-in-law; five grandchildren; and one great grandson.

Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St. (St. Rt 161 W) Plain City where funeral services will be Thursday, March 16, 2017.
