Billie Sue Wier, age 86, of Dickinson, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Ms. Wier was born on November 19, 1930 in Crockett, Texas to Claude Arnold and Fannie Bartee. Ms. Wier was a homemaker and an avid quilter. She was also a member of the Pink Apron Club.

Billie Wier was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Doug Wier; daughter, Billy Nell; sisters, Audrey Corman and Dean Harris.

Billie Sue Wier is survived by her daughters, Donna Webb and James of Longview, Evelyn Webb of Texas City and Frankie Troutman and David of Dickinson; son, Ronny Wier and Phyllis of Palestine; sisters, Connie Reed, Shirley Hooper, Glenda Cambel; brothers, Cecil Arnold and Roy Arnold. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Holly Springs Cemetery with Bro. Kevin Willmott officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral arrangements are in care of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Hwy 19, Palestine, Texas.
