Mr. Grenert is survived by his three daughters, Kristy Baynton of South Bend, Kathy Diamond of South Bend and Nancy Bontreger of Middlebury; seven grandchildren, Tracie, Jessica, Shannon, Sara, Jena, Kody and Leah; five great grandchildren; and two sisters, Sue LaGue and Joyce Grenert, both of South Bend.
Mr. Grenert retired in 1992 after over 40 years in the welding industry. He worked for Oliver Corporation, White Farm and National Standard. He proudly served his country during the Korean War with the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with his wife and dogs. He was a great man and was loved by many. We will miss you Dad.
Per Mr. Grenert’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville and Southlawn Cremation Services is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jesse F. Grenert may be donated to Hospice Foundation, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545 or to Pet Refuge, 4626 S. Burnett Drive, South Bend, IN 46614.
