Visiting was at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting was at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Wednesday, celebrated by the Rev. Henry Vavasseur. Entombment in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Mausoleum. Survived by his wife, Therese Mabile Bourgoyne, Port Allen; stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Loretta Haynes and James Soileau, Baker; two stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, C.J. and Ray F. Haynes, Zachary, and Ronnie and Shirli W. Haynes, Midland, Mich.; a sister, Sadie B. Stablier, Baton Rouge; and eight stepgrandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife, Annie Thibodeaux Bourgoyne; parents, Eustache and Amanda Hebert Bourgoyne; two sisters, Charice B. Fornier and Helena B. Bourgoyne; and two brothers, August and Earl Bourgoyne.
