Louis Kluth Is Dead
Louis Kluth, one of the venerable residents of the town of Deer Creek and one of that town's most prominent and esteemed farmers, passed away on Thursday afternoon after an illness extending over many months. We were unable to learn the funeral arrangements.

OBITUARY from Clintonville, WI newspaper:

Ludwig Kluth whose death was mentioned briefly in these columns last week, was born in Russia, February 18, 1847 and passed away at seven o'clock on Thursday evening, Dec. 7th from exhaustion following an attack of kidney trouble. Deceased was one of the most highly respected and popular men in the town of Deer Creek, were he had made his home for many years and his demise brings sorrow to all who knew him. He was of a quiet, unassuming disposition who held a great love for his family and a high esteem for all his friends and was the possessor of one of those kind, cheerful dispositions that won him a warm place in the hearts of all his acquaintances. He is survived by a wife and 12 children. Funeral services were held at St. Martin's Ev. Lutheran church in this city at 1:30 o'clock last Monday afternoon, Rev. C. A. Hoist officiating.
