Marion - John W. Riddle, 63, Marion, died May 19, 2005 at Bradner Village, Marion after an extended illness. He was born June 7, 1941 in Sweetwater, Tennessee, and resided in Marion. He was a graduate of Frankton High School. He served his country in the US Air Force from July of 1964 to May of 1970. He was a member of the Disabled American Veteran's. He is survived by his son, Gary L. Riddle of Tucson, Arizona; five brothers, Thomas H. & wife Jo Ann Riddle of Anderson, Clyde & wife Lila Riddle of Sweetwater, Tennessee, David L. & wife Sherry Riddle of Anderson, Paul & wife Donna Riddle of Anderson and Marvin Riddle of Anderson; four sisters, Mary & husband Bob Erli of Middletown, Emma Tunnell of Elwood, Edith Stover of Anderson and Lila & husband Don Townsend of Anderson and two grandchildren, Christopher Riddle and Cassie Riddle. He was preceded by his parents, John & Annie Bellamy Riddle; a brother, Jimmy Riddle and a brother-in-law, Ralph Tunnell. Services will be Monday, May 23, 2005 at 2:30 PM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Rev. Alvin Dayton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson . Visitation will be from 12:30-2:30 PM on Monday, May 23, 2005 at the South Chapel. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the VFW Post #266.
