Mr. Akers was born August 24, 1959, a son to Nathan Frank and Barbara Ann Evans Akers. He married Felicidad Dizon on June 2, 2001 at Stockton, California and she survives.
Also surviving are his mother; his son, Franklin Ray (Monica) Akers; three stepchildren, Rachelle, Raquel and Eduardo; six siblings, Benjamin Akers, Teresa Ward, Becky Cisco, Roy Akers, Mark Akers and Jenni Akers and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; a niece, Angela Ward and his father-in-law, Julio Dizon.
He was employed at Lowe's and then he owned and operated Frank's Building and Repair.
He enjoyed driving around the countryside and lakes, taking in all the outdoors had to offer. He also enjoyed model airplanes, riding his mower around pulling kids in a wagon, playing PlayStation 4, his virtual-reality goggles, NASCAR and especially his dogs, Lucky, Scooby, and Lilly.
