Amanda died in Rutherford County, NC(Cliffside), but she is buried at Cherokee Creek Baptist Church in Cherokee County, SC.
I am Louise Arms Atkinson's GGrand child. Sallie died at my GGrands home in the Cherokee Creek Community of Cherokee Co, SC. She became sick while visiting and was promised that she would be returned to her Greenville Co, SC home.
My GGrandfather saw that the promise was kept. He and the other men of the family (including the men of Amanda's and Louise's family) took the body back to her home."-Sylvia Mintz Thomas (#47419219)
