Maggie B. Bailey, age 88 years of Hesperia, passed away on Friday evening, January 15, 2016 at her home. She was born on January 4, 1928 in Aliceville, Alabama to Frank & Maggie (Ruffin) McQuarley. Mrs. Bailey was a member of Hesperia United Methodist Church, and she was a long time contributor to the Hesperia Library. She also loved flowers and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy Bailey on June 11, 1971. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Bud & Buddy, and by her sisters: Fannie, LA, Idabelle, and Baby.
Survivors include 3 children: Mary (Lee) Colby of Scottsdale, Arizona, William "Buck" Bailey of Hesperia, & Joyce Bailey of Hesperia; 3 grandchildren: Cheri (Rick) Stroud, Cindy Colby, & Randy Colby; and a host of great grandchildren & great great grandchildren.
