Martin Catron, age 69, passed away 10 March 2017 at his home in Lewistown, Missouri.

He was born 31 July 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa, a son of Henry Wesley and Vera Katheleen Clark Catron. He married Patsy Sue Powers on 3 May 1968 in Erlangen, Germany. She preceded him in death on 17 April 2005.

He received his education at Lewistown, Missouri where he graduated from High School. Following graduation he served in the U S Army during the Vietnam War where he received the Purple Heart for injuries he sustained. Martin was a former member of the Lewis county Memorial Post # 578 of the American Legion and Mount Olivet United Methodist Church and it's men's group of Taylor. He was a Nascar Fan and auto enthusiast.

Survivors include his daughters, Michelle Katherine Catron of Emerson, Missouri and Melissa Jean (Don) James of Florissant, Missouri; one sister, Marie Whiteley of Canton: three grandsons, Chase Epker of New London, Missouri, Hunter Williams of Hannibal, Missouri and Jacob Rosenkrans of Florissant, Missouri and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one brother, Allen Catron and one sister, Marilyn Norris and infant brother Milford Catron.

Funeral Services were held 14 March 2017 at the Ball-Funeral Home in Ewing with Pastor Lance Bonnell and Pastor Mark Carpenter officiating. Burial was in the Mount Oliver Cemetery, Taylor, Missouri.

Memorials may be made to the Disable American Veterans or the the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
