Alan Cowardin, a former resident of West Covina, died at his home in Morro Bay, January 21, 2007.

Alan was 59, born in Joplin, MO., September 26, 1947. A Veteran of the Viet Nam War, he served proudly in the Marines', E2-7 company as a Lance Corporal.

He is survived by his daughters, Maya and Caitlyn; sisters, Janet Williamson and Cyndi Albaugh and their families.

Mr. Cowardin had many friends who will miss him, including his dearest Mr. & Mrs. Allen Green and their family and Mr. & Mrs. Chris Battles.
