Mary was born and raised in Smith County, MS. Her family line traced to about 1484 England. Living around the Worcestershire area. They migrated to America around 1685 settling in Virginia before moving further south one generation at a time.
Mary met and married Thomas Sullivan Jr. in 1820 in Smith County, MS. They had several children together and raised them all in Smith County. Thomas passed away in 1855 and Mary passed in 1891.
