Louis A. Capuano HAMILTON - Louis A. Capuano, 86, passed away Monday at Hamilton Continuing Care Center in Hamilton. Born in Providence, RI in 1920, his family moved to Trenton in the 1930s where he spent most of his life. Louis was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and served in the campaigns in North Africa, Southern Italy and the Anzio Beachead, also in Italy. Mr. Capuano spent most of his life working in his family's fruit and produce business, at various locations; the last being the Quality Market on South Broad Street in Trenton. Lou and his father also built and owned the Quality Flower and Garden Market on Chambers Street in Trenton, until he sold it to the Makrancy family. Son of the late Achille and Crestina Capuano, brother of the late Eleanor Bohan and Anne Capuano, he is survived by four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Carolyn DeLisa, Mary and Dominic Scolaro, Isabel and Robert Exton, Margaret Vosburgh, and John Bohan; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, Hamilton.
