Lennie C. Meadows (87) of Pensacola, FL passed away on Wed., March 8, 2017. She was born in Boaz, AL on Aug. 25, 1929 to the late Floyd and Lennie Evers Douglas.
Lennie was preceded in death by her husband of almost 65 years, Wiley T. Meadows, Jr.
She is survived by her two daughters, Becky Meadows and Marcia A. Wise; two grandchildren, Becky K. (James) Smith and Angela M. (Keith) Brummel; four great grandchildren, Kenny Gardner, Micheal Gardner, James D. Brummel and Dylan W. Smith; and two brothers, James Douglas and Eulis Douglas.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30AM on Tues., March 14, 2017 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with Rev. Bill Flannigan officiating. Burial will follow services in Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola, FL.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff for all the wonderful care that was given to Lennie at Covenant Hospice Inpatient Palliative Care Center at West Florida Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Mon., March 13, 2017 from 5PM to 7PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Keith Brummel, Micheal Gardner, Kenny Gardner, Eulis Douglas, James Smith, Dylan W. Smith and J. D. Brummel.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Covenant Hospice Inpatient Palliative Care Center at West Florida Hospital.
