TOWN OF PLYMOUTH
DEATHS
VOL. 5 1855 - 1875
Date of death: March 24, 1858
Name and surname of the deceased:
Mary Warren
Age: 87 years
Place of death: Plymouth
Sex and condition: Widow, female
Place of birth: Plymouth
Names of parents: Widow of Henry Warren
Disease or cause of death: Old Age
Place of interment: Burial Hill
Informant or undertaker: Clement Bates

*Clement Bates (1792-1885)
Sexton of the First Parish and of the town.
His duties have been to ring the church bells daily, and to bury the dead.

Note:
The above death record was obtained by me at the Plymouth Town Hall.

A gravestone for Mary was not documented in "Epitaphs from Burial Hill," published 1894
by Bradford Kingman, or in "Burial Hill its Monuments and Gravestones," published 1894
by Benjamin Drew. Also when Burial Hill was mapped in the 1990's by the Robinson
family a gravestone was not found. Mary's death record indicates that she is buried here.

I did not find a burial location for Mary's husband Henry Warren.
He died July 6, 1828, Plymouth, MA. Possibly, Mary and Henry are
both buried in the family vault at Burial Hill.
Daughter of Pelham and Joanna (White) Winslow.
Wife of Henry Warren.
