Paralysis Fatal To Mrs. Lyda K. Angleton, City
Mrs. Lyda K. Angleton, widow of John Angleton, died at 5 o'clock last night at the home on south Leavitt street after a brief illness of paralysis aged 73 years. Mrs. Angleton was stricken last Tuesday with the fatal stroke coming Monday afternoon.
The deceased was born in Parke county and had been a resident of Brazil for the past 11 years. Her husband, who was sexton of Cottage Hill cemetery for many years, died just a few weeks ago.
Mrs. Angleton is survived by two step-sons, John and Roy Angleton, of Indianapolis; also eight step-grandchildren.
The remains were prepared for burial at the Miller & Sons funeral parlors and will be returned to the home Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Perkins officiating; interment Cottage Hill cemetery.
Parents are William Craig and Catherine Clark.
