Ronald Thomas Goff, age 77, of Orland, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Lakeland Nursing Center, Angola, Indiana.

He was born on March 1, 1940 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, the son of Ronald Cliffton and Mary Eva (Fey) Goff.

He graduated from Springfield Local High School in New Middletown, Ohio, Florida Beacon Bible College, Clearwater, Florida, and the American Television & Electronics School in Niles, Ohio.

He served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War, and formerly was a member of the Orland American Legion Post # 423.

He retired as a minister, and formerly had lived in Tampa, Florida, Lowellville, Ohio. He served as pastor at Sherwood Open Bible Church, Sherwood, Ohio, and was assistant pastor of the Open Bible Church, Youngstown, Ohio, and Norwood Open Bible Church, Cincinnati, Ohio, and had worked with the Amazing Grace Ministries, Tampa, Florida. He also was a painter, carpenter, and a mechanic.

He was a member of the Deaf Missions International, Clearwater, Florida, Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God, Tampa, Florida, and the Congregational Church, Orland, Indiana. His hobbies included painting, carpentry, soduku, crossword puzzles, playing guitar, dulcimer, and the piano.

He married Jennie E.M. (Twigg) on June 19, 1962 in Struthers, Ohio.

Survivors include his wife, Jennie Goff of Orland, Indiana, children, Zoey (Andrew) Harris of Houston, Texas, Jennie Marie "Ree" (Jeffrey Shawn) Webb of Brooksville, Florida, Tammy Minnick (Joe Dunne) of Tampa, Florida, Ronald (Cindy) Goff of Denver, Colorado, Mindy (Kenny) Steele of Orland, Indiana, and Ronald Joseph Goff of Brooksville Florida, many grandchildren & great-grandchildren, sisters, Lois Goff of Massillon, Ohio, Maxine (Herbie) Hughs of LaFontaine, Indiana, Eileen (Tim) Storms of Mansfield, Ohio, and Mary Kay (Shreelal) Shindore of Fort Myers, Florida, a brother, Albert Michael (Carolyn) Goff of Canton, Ohio, a sister-in-law, Marsha Pratt of Fredricksburg, Virginia, and a brother-in-law, Clifford Armstrong of Youngstown, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James Robert Goff, and his father and mother-in-law, Marshall and Mildred (Evans) Twigg.

Funeral Services will be held at 5 pm Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with Rev. Mark Emelander officiating. Calling hours will be held prior to the services from 3-5 pm Thursday at Beams Funeral Home. Military honors will be provided by members of the Orland American Legion Post # 423, and the Ft. Wayne military honors team.

Burial will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Tampa, Florida.

Memorials are requested in care of the family.
