Marvin was born October 4, 1925 the son of Carson W. and Lottie (Carlyle) Coil. On April 22, 1950 he was married to Mary Kathleen Gulick, who survives.
Marvin was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. navy. He was employed at A.P. Green Refactories for 45 years.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Mary Kathleen Coil, son Eric Coil, Sister Wanda Coil Salmons, Brother David Coil, Sister in Law Martha Coil, Grandchildren Zachary C Coil (Lyndsey), Landon T Coil (Brianne), Logan C Coil, and Ian S Coil.
Marvin was preceded in death by two children; Kathy Denise Coil Phears & Valerie Coil, three brothers; George Coil, Lewis Coil and Carson Coil.
