Suffolk - Harold Eugene "Gene" Gartman, Jr., 50, of Suffolk, VA went to be with the Lord. He was born in Jackson, MS and the son of Harold Eugene Gartman, Sr. and Barbara Ann Gartman.
He served in the United States Navy for ten years. Upon leaving the Navy, he was in the industrial and engineering field until his death.
He is predeceased by his parents, and one sister who died at birth.
He is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Jessica and Michael Weaver of Suffolk, VA and Tiffany Dalton of Ivor, VA; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Kellie Gartman of Starkville, MS; one sister and one brother in law, Connie and Bruce Lozier of McComb, MS. Gene also had three grandchildren; Keaton, Layla, and Kaydence; three nieces, Bonnie, Kandi, and Kathryn; and two grandnieces and two grandnephews.
