IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Roland Rene Cazeau, 93, of Ammon, died December 30, 2005, at Idaho Falls Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born July 29, 1912, in Montreal, Canada, to Rosario Cazeau and Andrina Chabot Cazeau. He attended Catholic Schools back East. He served in the United States Navy.

On February 7, 1936, he married Eleanor Hope Lewis in Huntington Park, California. Their marriage was solemnized in the Los Angeles California Temple on May 11, 1962. They also lived in South Gate, Downey and Whittier, California. They eventually moved to Twin Falls, Pocatello, and Vancouver, Washington before moving to Idaho Falls. He worked for Edison power, as a bookkeeper for Amerilla Petroleum and as a truck driver for Airco.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed building and swimming.

Survivors are:
Son: Alan Ray (Sandra) Cazeau, Ammon, ID
Daughter: Mary Jenine (William) Sowell, Catheral City, CA
Daughter: Cheri Ann (Randy) Taylor, Whittier, CA
7 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and 1 brother, Armand Cazeau.

Funeral Services will be at 12 Noon Thursday, January 5, 2006, at the McCammon LDS Stake Center. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon) and for one hour prior to services at the church.

Burial will be in the McCammon Cemetery.
