John S. Stroud, age 82 of Forum, died April 7 at Fort Smith where he had gone to attend the funeral of a brother. He suffered a heart attack while visiting the funeral home to view the body of his brother, and expired shortly there after. The body was returned to the Brashears Funeral Home here. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Allen B. Harper, Church of Christ minister of Rogers, at the Church of Christ at Forum at 2 p.m. Monday, April 12. Burial was in the cemetery there under the directions of the Brashears Funeral Home. The deceased is survived by a number of relatives in Madison County and other points
but a list of them is not available at this time.
