Web J. Rose Jr. was born Nov. 22, 1925, in Arlington, the son of Web and Mattie Rose. Web served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a longtime member of Rolling Hills Country Club for over 30 years. He owned Web Rose & Co. from 1950 until his retirement in 1982. Web enjoyed golf, gardening and traveling. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Arlington.
Survivors: His loving wife of 36 years, Barbara Rose; daughters, Pamela Stroud and husband, Tim, of Austin and Peggy Archer and husband, Dewice, of Arkansas; stepdaughter, Karen McMurrough and husband, Joe, of Arlington; stepson, Mark McCommas of Arlington; and five grandchildren.
