She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Freeman Tillman, her parents and 7 siblings.
She is survived by her 3 children, Penny Bruce, Kenny Tillman and Patty Dorrell and her husband Stephen, all of Springfield, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Tillman was a homemaker and was known for her baking, especially cinnamon rolls, cherry cobbler, chocolate cake and oatmeal cookies.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
