Mrs. Amelia Fike, aged 79 years, well known resident of 12 Pittsburgh street, Uniontown, died at 10:15 o’clock, Tuesday night, December 4, 1934, while undergoing an operation in a Pittsburgh hospital.
She was a native of Bruceton, W. Va. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Ora Whitaker and Mrs. Donna Lutz, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Ella Artis, Mrs. Frank Griffith, Marshall and Russell Fike, of Uniontown and Emma Abrahams and Charles Fike, of Fairchance. Thirty-three grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, together with one sister, Mrs. Margaret Benson, of Bruceton, also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted in the family residence Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock by Rev. Willard M. Douglass, pastor of the First Methodist Protestant church. Burial at Sylvan Heights.
