Ellen Louisa Crook, 89, a former resident of Birdseye, died at 8:50 pm Friday, October 17, 1986 at the Clarksville Health Care Center in Clarksville. She was born in Crawford County May 17, 1897, to William Hansford and Irene Purcell Pearson.
She married Oscar Crook in 1944, and he preceded her in death on March 16, 1968.
Surviving are three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Mrs. Crook was preceded in death by two sons, Gaylord and Manford, and was the last surviving member of her family. She was a member of the Birdseye Christian Church.
The funeral was Monday . Burial was in the Birdseye cemetery.
