During World War I she worked in the fields and later helped her brother Harvey and Mr & Mrs. Otto Treuner in Paradise Valley. Little did she know that within two years she would make her permanent home across the Yellowstone River when she married Warren DePuy on June 5, 1926. Together they operated a fur farm unti 1946. The DePuy family went into the cattle business featuring Hereford and Charolais. Eva became well known internationally for her DePuy Spring Creek Fly Fishing business. She loved horses, flowers, birds and the great outdoors. Her immediate family will miss hearing "Aunt Eva." She was also known as "Grannie" to many friends of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
