Lois Marynette Moon

Lois Marynette Moon passed away October 31, 2006 in Orem, Utah. She was born November 23, 1922 in Albia, Iowa to John and Fanny Hynd Bagnall. Lois was educated in Dallas, Iowa, graduating from Dallas High School in 1940 as the valedictorian of her class. She then attended 2 years of College in Monmouth, Illinois.

She married Preston Brown; he preceded her in death in 1989. Lois later married Merritt Moon June 20, 1997.

Lois had a career as a successful Real Estate Agent. She was a delightful, intelligent person with a great sense of humor. Lois had a wonderful singing voice and sang many times at church in her younger years. She was also a wizard at crossword puzzles. Lois traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Mediterranean, collecting cups from each area she traveled too.

She is survived by her second husband, Merritt Moon; by Vicki Blanchard and David Brown, who she raised as her own children; by her step-children Patricia Ellen Moon, Maury Moon, Christopher Moon and Deborah Lavoie; and by 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Preston Brown, and by her brother John [George Campbell] Bagnall and his wife, June Bagnall.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Berg Mortuary Drawing Room Chapel, 185 E. Center Street, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the mortuary Saturday morning, one hour prior to services. Interment will be at a later date in the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa.
