Allie Jane Anderson Raulston, age 93, of South Pittsburg, TN died in a Chattanooga Hospital.She was a descendant of several pioneer Marion County families.
Allie's father-David Crockett Anderson, his wife-Ava Margaurite Kelly Anderson. Ava died when Allie Jane was four days old. (She was named for her mother's twin sister, Allie Kelly). She then made her home with her father's sister and brother-in-law.
When Crockett Anderson later married Allie Lappin, she became Allie Jane's mother, and their family was complete with the birth of her sister, Dais Elizabeth "Libba" Anderson.
After High School, Allie Jane attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. Worked at Eastern Airlines in Miami. Married Joseph Mancel "Chick" Raulston on Nov. 2, 1946 and spent the next years as a wife and mother to three daughters. Then she returned to college, earned her teaching degree from the University of Chattanooga, and taught school at South Pittsburg for the next 23 years, and was a substitute mail carrier. She was a member of the Methodist Church , was a Sunday school teacher, member Delta Kappa Gamma Society, and the Marion County Retired Teachers Association, many other activities to numerous to mention.
After "Chick's" unexpected death in 1986, Allie married Dallas Duggar with thee sons.
