Samuel Bowman
Romney, Nov, 29--Samuel Reuben Bowman, 68, native of Kirby, this county, but employed for some time in Winchester, Va., died Monday morning at his home in Sunnyside, near that city. Rites were held this morning from the residence, with interment at Maysville.
Surviving are his widow, two sons, Earl Bowman, Sunnyside, and Woodrow Bowman, Now serving with the armed forces in Italy: four daughters, Mrs. Mabel Kidwell, Westernport, Md.; Mrs. Mary Crisman, Connellsville, Pa.; Mrs. Clara Welsh, Point Marion, Pa.; Mrs. Grace Strickler, Pittsburgh. Three brothers, Frank, Thomas, and Griffith Bowman, all of Romney and a sister, Mrs. Mattie Holt of Hampshire County, also survive.
