"AGED PIONEER PASSES AWAY
From Tuesdays Daily [September 26]. Mrs. Julia Ann Hunt [nee Bozeman], aged 70 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mattie Kirkland on B street last night at 7 o’clock. Mrs. Hunt came to California when a mere child, crossing the plains with her parents behind an ox team in the days of the pioneers, and she has lived for the passed thirty years in Madera county. Arrangements for the funeral services will be made and announced later."

"FUNERAL SERVICES THIS AFTERNOON
From Wednesday’s Daily. The funeral services of Mrs. Julian Ann Hunt, who died Monday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. Kirkland, were held from the residence this afternoon at 3:30 o’clock, and the interment took place at Arbor Vitae cemetery. Rev. R. L. Sprinkle officiated. Four children survive Mrs. Hunt: Mrs. M. Kirkland, of Madera; Mrs. J. W. Cline, of Santa Rosa; Mrs. Charles Radliff, of Merced, and Mrs. Charles McCrory, of Kingsburg."
