Uehlinger was an engineer for C. E. Leslie Contracting Co. He had formerly worked as construction engineer for Southern Alkall and Great Southern plants, and had assisted with the planning of Ward Island, the bayfront beautification and other projects.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, August Francis and Cecil Francis of Corpus Christi and Donald of Walla Walla, Wash.; four daughters, Mary Cecilia, Marion Teresa, Julia, and Eleanor, all of Corpus Christi; and two brothers, August Uehlinger of Portland, Ore., and Ernest Uehlinger of Astoria, Ore.
Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be D. W. Grant, W. B. Davenport, George Snyder, C. P. Cullinan, Andrew Rankin, Jim Dolan, Gilbert Vetters, Albert Emmert, Jr., all of Corpus Christi, and C. E. Leslie and C. E. Adams of Kingsville.
