October 17, 1930 - January 22, 2018 Edna Mae Baker, age 87, of Corbin, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Barbourville ARH Hospital.
The daughter of the late Edgar & Delia (Partin) Norvell, Edna was born October 17, 1930, in Corbin, Kentucky.
Edna was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith, a member of Lynn Camp Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Benjamin F. Baker, an Infant son and a sister Rhonda Lou Fox & her husband Lowell.
Edna is survived by three sons: Glenn (Rainbo) Baker- Retired Battalion Chief of Corbin Fire Dept. and West Knox Firefighter, Larry W. Baker - Former American Greeting Employee, both of Corbin and Richard Baker and wife Marlou - a U.S. Postal Service Worker of Frankfort, Kentucky. Three Grandchildren: Jennifer Baker and husband Charles Garland of Corbin- Owner of West Knox Pharmacy, Richard Nathan Baker - U.S. Postal Service, and Timothy Baker and wife Tiffany - a Teacher, of Franklin County, Kentucky and One Great Grandchild: Owen Sawyer Baker.
The family of Edna would also like to mention Jeanette Earl, who she still thought of as a daughter - in - law.
Edna also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the O'Neil - Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Sam Moore and Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Lynn Camp Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
