Jack O. Holcroft, age 98 passed away February 17, 2017.

Jack was born April 6, 1918, the third child of Dolly and Sam Holcroft, born in Morrow County, Arkansas.

Jack joined the Army Air Corps in 1943, during World War II.

Jack then relocated to Washington where he met his wife Joan Carper. They settled in Benton City and had three children (Sharon, Carole, and Richard). Joan passed away unexpectedly in 1966 in an automobile accident.

Jack then married Doris Day in 1969.

Jack was a retired millwright from Hanford of 33 years. Jack and Doris spent many years chairing the Benton City rodeos, fairs and parades.

Jack is survived by his brother, Robert Holcroft, son, Richard Holcroft (Leah), and step daughter Glenda Eaton (David), son in laws, Ron Best, David Roberts and Gordon Westerfield, 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren 1 great great grandson and numerous extended family.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, wives, Joan Holcroft, Doris Holcroft, daughters, Sharon Best, Carole Roberts, step daughter, Linda Westerfield, sister, Frannie Sue Loftin, brother Leland Holcroft, grandsons, Beau Roberts and Shaun Best, great grandson Demario Dixon.

Services will be held gravesite at the Benton City Evergreen Cemetery, March 4, 2017 at noon.
